I do that all the timeY'know, I was to Greece [Crete] last month, it was my first time when I could hear your language clearly, a v-very interesting one. And even though I talked to local people in English, I had learned several Greek words too there xDD
One thing is quite strange, Ukrainian alphabet came from your country.. but we still can't read yours correctly o__0 I was glad that the name Ελλάδα has similar letters to ours [Еллада] and is readable xD

Soo, that seems you live in continental Greece?) Heh... we actually lived in the hotel, so the most frequently spoken words there were the ones like: 'kalimera, kalispera, ohi, ne, efharisto' etc. xDD We even used them speaking with the receptionists.
In fact you're right, the accent was very obvious, but lots of local people were so talkative, I understood their English perfectly
By the way, not only the alphabet - our religion came from your country. That's really interesting.. we have visited a lot of your churches, and we felt so good, knowing that we were standing on the land where our religion had come from o____0
Yep XD in the most populated city of Greece. LOL XDD this is so fun having someone from another country write in greeklish words XD( writing greek words using english letters is greeklish) .It must had been a fun vacation ?? XDD
LOL yeah we tend to be talkative XDD. And no way spanish is nothing like our language XDD . I believe they speak faster than us .And I don't really think the pronounciation is similar
Uuuh must had been exciting ovo ! I''ve visited so many churches and museums (they just never end :I they are infinite) that I've gotten bored of them XD. I'm more excited when they take me to places like Olympia ovo where the first olympics happened. And you see the broken colums and all the other things XD.

Da-amn, I'm sorry x''D But I swear! For my ears Greek and Spanish is somehow similar xD So, I'm very glad that a real Greek person has told me about big difference between their pronounciations ^ ^'''' I'm glad to know it from now on! Guess it might be the same as comparing Russian with Kazakh x')
OmG.. I love columns :____: While traveling around Cyprus we had visited so many of them! And amphitheatres .___. how amazing they are!... ;_____; Dunno why, but I feel very good standing on steps of an amphitheatre.. as if you are touching the ancientry ~ ♥
